The company was founded by the Mariani brothers in Gorla, then on the outskirts of Milan, today within the metropolis.
Over the years, in order to meet increasing market demand, it became necessary (in 1966) move the factory to Zingonia (Bg), a location undoubtedly more suitable, in term of both space and production methods, for the ever-developing business (official inauguration 1st of April 1966).
The factory employed over 130 people, who operated in highly specialized departments equipped with sophisticated machinery for the performance of operations with maximum accuracy:
· hot forging of brass by means of robot presses
· automatized multiple station transfer machines department
· cleaning machines for parts to be chrome plated
· chrome plating plant
· assembly and tightness test department
· cleaning and boxing of faucets
· test and quality control laboratory
· storage of the finished product
· packing and shipping department
In 1974 the factory joined the American Masco Group Corporation, leader in different fields (building trade - motors - oil research) especially in sanitary taps, with several divisions working all around the world.
Belonging to the first mondial Group in the industrial taps manufacturing, it allowed to us to develop a set of synergic actions that leaded at the acquisition of an high level know-how.
Since the 1st of January 2008 the Company leaves the American multinational and it becomes once again completely Italian, engaging in new investments and new technologies for a product even more "Made in Italy".
Today Rubinetterie Mariani is proud of its quality level assured by advanced manufacturing technology, by suitable choice of constructive materials and by constant and diligent controls made in every working phase, till the final control which confirm once for all the quality of the product.
But it's not enough, the high quality level can be seen thought the elegance and the purity of the lines, in the refined finishes, typical of Italian design, that also satisfy the more demanding people, ensuring the perfect functioning over time.
